Thank you for your inquiry. The FAMCO Louvered Gable Vent is only available with the 1/8" mesh, we are not able to provide 1/4" mesh.

This gable vent has no color painted on. It is a galvanized unpainted finish.
Yes, you are correct in that F is the size of the vent including the flanges, but not in that the 14" x 20" size would be 11- 7/8" x 17-7/8". A 14" x 20" vent would be slightly undersized at 13-7/8" x 19-7/8". The size including the flange would then be 16" x 22".
The louvers on this gable vent are angled down and fixed in place.
Correct. The dimensions are of the rough opening size. The sizes are listed width x height.

Slightly damage on the lower section of vent, but liveable. Thought flush mount meant it wouldn’t have to fit in my frame hole 17X19, that’s why I ordered a 18X20, will reframe the vent hole .
